Ms. Jaime Gaudet earned her Masters of Science (M.S.) in Art Therapy from Eastern Virginia Medical School (E.V.M.S.) in 2001.  Ms. Gaudet is licensed in Pennsylvania as a Professional Counselor (LPC).  Ms. Gaudet earned her Bachelors of Fine Arts degree (B.F.A.) from The College of New Jersey (T.C.N.J.), which included a semester abroad in Paris, France.  Ms. Gaudet has been working with children, adolescents, and adults in New Jersey and Philadelphia for the past 7 years.

Art Classes
Harvest Moon Art Therapy Studio offers exciting instructional art classes for children, adolescents, and adults of varying skill levels from beginner to expert.  Beginners will learn about the elements and principles of art, while more advanced artists will perfect their skills and explore their creative process.  Art classes can inspire anyone interested in tapping into their own creative reservoirs.  Making art can relieves stress, increase creativity, improve problem solving skills, and build confidence.  Instructional art classes are for enrichment and educational purposes only and are not intended to treat mental health issues.

Counseling
Harvest Moon Art Therapy Studio offers art therapy and traditional mental health counseling (talk-therapy) sessions for children, adolescents, and adults.  Sessions take place with a compassionate, life-affirming, supportive therapist in a confidential office. 
Art Therapy is a specialty within the mental health field.  Art therapists are mental health counselors who use art as a therapeutic tool to help people express and work through difficult thoughts and emotions.  Art therapists believe that the process of making art is both healing and rejuvenating.  In addition to teaching clients coping skills to deal with problematic emotions, thoughts, and behaviors, art therapists guide clients through the art making process and encourage clients to reflect on their artwork and their lives.
