Learn to identify which plants produce permanent colors and how to get many color variations from just one plant. This will be a demonstration of how to prepare the dyestuff, scour and mordant the yarn and run a dye bath. I will also demonstrate how additional shades can be created by post - mordanting.

Students will receive samples, printed instructions and a resource list so they can try their own dyeing at home. No experience necessary.
